Em’s Kickin Cancer’s Ass
Emily’s life has been derailed for the short term due to her diagnosis on February 6th of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Emily had just started her dream job as a legal assistant at Constellation Brands on January 2, after graduation from the University at Buffalo this past December. Although this is devastating news, Emily is fighting with more bravery and positive attitude than ever imaged.
We are starting this GoFundMe page to assist Emily with her mounting medical expenses. Her treatment includes a 30 day stay at Wilmot Cancer Center at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, while having intensive chemotherapy. Afterwards, she will need 9 months of outpatient chemo followed by another 12 months of oral maintenance chemo. Her parents, Nadine and Doug, will have additional costs as they have had to get an apartment in Rochester to assist Emily for the next year through this long process.
The family will also be making a donation in Emily’s name to a cancer organization of her choice.
