With the shock of our dear friend and mentor Peter having had a stroke and in an induced coma due to a Staph infection and viral meningitis. We were wondering how we could be of help, so with the blessing of his wife Trudi, daughter Suzanne and family this Fund Me Page has been started.
Peter was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday 12th September, currently they are still working on finding the cause of his infection with more tests scheduled for him. Today (14 Sept) the internal heart scan test revealed he has a Big strong heart ❤ (which we all knew) but they found a 1cm staph growth, which is likely to be the cause of the infection in his brain which has caused the mild stroke. The doctors have said he will be in hospital on a intravenous drip for about six weeks to aid his healing. The sedative has been reduced to bring him out of the coma, which is likely to take 2-3 days.
We will keep you updated on any further diagnosis and progress, while we are eagerly waiting for him to wake up.
Peter and Trudi are both self employed owning multiple businesses and contract themselves so Peter needing 6 weeks off for ongoing treatment and having his beautiful wife by his side, in a time of need their income will drop and their expenses increase. This includes any medical bills, daily trips as they live a fair bit away from the hospital and parking fees.
Peter is always continually spending his time investing in others and empowering them, he's impacted so many lives and any help to get him back on his feet would be so appreciated.
