Who we are
We are SAY, short for Seniors and Youth , an award-winning social venture that creates jobs for Korean retirees by empowering them as tutors who teach online Korean lessons to learners all over the world.
Korea is the fastest aging country in the world.
We are effectively tackling this huge socio-economic issue through Korean language and cultural education.
To create sustainable and fulfilling jobs for Korean seniors and provide quality Korean education to learners worldwide.
To build the world's largest intergenerational community of retired educators and students.
Our Fundraising Needs
Our goal is to create 250 new jobs by the end of the year for retirees by hiring them as SAY Tutors.
For $200, you can help SAY create 5 new sustainable and fulfilling jobs for seniors and kickstart their post retirement lives.
Previous grants cover administrative costs, but we need your support to make sure we can continue to promote our program and build out a vibrant and active senior tutor community.
We are asking for a minimum of $10,000 to cover the funding gap and meet our goal of creating 250 new jobs.

We currently serve students from North America, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East who need to improve their Korean speaking for their careers or education.
A large portion are 2nd and 3rd generation Korean Americans who want to maintain their cultural heritage by learning to speak their mother tongue, Korean.
All of our SAY tutors take immense pride in teaching and connecting with the younger generation. They feel SAY has given them an outlet to not only obtain gainful employment but also learn and grow in their post-retirement lives.
Thank you so much.
