Empowering Future Nurses

Sharon Reynolds possessed a talent and passion for caring for others in their time of need. She heard that inner purpose, pursued an education, and accepted her charge to pursue a life-long career in nursing. Her concern for others wasn't just about their health and well-being, but also about empowering them to do as she had done, and encourage others to join those who give so much of themselves to be nurses. In honor of Sharon's storied career, this fundraiser was created to assist those who choose to heed the call to help others in their most trying times. All dollars collected will go directly to an Ivy Tech scholarship which helps students interested in nursing. Sharon would never miss an opportunity to say "Thank You" to all nurses, front-line medical workers, and support staff that work so hard every day to keep their surrounding community healthy. She passes to you her respect and gratitude, and challenges each of you to welcome and teach the next generation of nurses, as they learn to care for us in our future time of need.
