You can make a difference by donating today to Ashe Arts & STEM. Ashe Arts & STEM is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering creativity, innovation, and intellectual curiosity among young minds.
We want to create an inclusive & accessible future for the next generation of BIPOC scholars & beyond. We work to bridge the gap between representation & access to education for BIPOC students pursuing the arts & STEM fields through scholarships & mentoring helping to facilitate the transition from student to professional. In order for the arts & STEM industries to advance & become more equitable, they must become more diverse. Ashe Arts & STEM is bringing equity to ignite arts & STEM!
Our mission is to provide programs where BIPOC students can explore the intersections of arts and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
We are currently raising funds for our Igniting the Pathway to Success (IPS) Mentoring Program. This program is designed to pair BIPOC students with mentors who are professionals in the arts and STEM fields. Through this program, students gain hands-on experience, learn about potential career paths, and develop valuable skills that will serve them well in their future endeavors.
The IPS Mentoring Program is a vital asset to the Greater Los Angeles Community for several reasons. It addresses the critical need for accessible and quality education in the fields of arts and STEM. It fosters a sense of community and belonging among its participants. It contributes to the overall development of the Greater Los Angeles Community, and it promotes diversity and inclusion in the arts and STEM fields.
The GoFundMe Charity funds will be instrumental in the successful implementation of the IPS Mentoring Program. The funds will be allocated to various aspects of the program to ensure its effectiveness and sustainability.
Specifically, the funds will be used to:
- Recruit, train, and support mentors: This is a critical aspect of the program as the mentors are the ones who will be directly interacting with the mentees, providing guidance, support, and encouragement. The training will equip them with the necessary skills to effectively mentor the participants.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum: This will include resources and materials such as laptops and hotspots for the participants that will be used in the mentoring sessions. The curriculum will be designed to address the specific needs of the participants and to equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary for their personal and professional development.
- Facilitate various activities and events: These may include workshops, seminars, and networking events. These activities will provide the participants with opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with others in their field.
Your donation will make a difference:
Your generous donation will ensure that we can continue to provide this invaluable resource to our students. By supporting this program, you are helping to ensure that all students have the opportunity to explore their passions, develop their skills, and reach their full potential.
Ashe Arts & STEM was founded on ambitious goals and it only makes sense that we shoot for the stars on Giving Tuesday.
