Organized by: Mrs. Vetria Veal & Mrs. Kathy Roberts
This summer, we are thrilled to launch the S.A.V.E.D. Summer Camp, a transformative and enriching experience for children ages 4–16. Facilitated by 2 passionate and dedicated educators, who are previous Teacher of the Year award recipients. Mrs. Vetria Veal and Mrs. Kathy Roberts aim to provide safe outlets and opportunities for children ages 4-16 of all race and ethnicities. We want to improve reading and comprehension skills, writing, mathmatical computation skills and reasoning, and to also promote critical thinking in our youth. We are striving to cultivate creativity, build character, and inspire confidence in every child.
Purpose
The purpose of S.A.V.E.D. Summer Camp is to provide an educational safe, supportive, and fun environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive during their summer break. Our program is designed to bridge educational gaps, promote emotional well-being, and expose children to new opportunities through engaging activities such as STEM workshops, arts and crafts, physical fitness and wellness, leadership development, and community service projects.
With your generous support, we will be able to:
Provide summer camp tuition scholarships for families in need
Supply educational/arts & craft materials, recreational/sports equipment and chromebooks for research and technology use.
Cover facility rental, utilities, a healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks for campers
Hire qualified/certified instructors and mentors
Every donation brings us closer to creating a phenominal experience and lasting impact on a child’s life and our community.
