AfricAspire was born from the life – and loss – of , a talented young Zambian whose potential was never given a chance to flourish. His story is shared by thousands of resilient, creative Africans who dream big yet lack access to training, mentoring, and start-up resources.
Today, AfricAspire is officially registered as a UK Community Interest Company (CIC) so every pound we raise is legally locked for community benefit.
Why We're Raising £10,000
Our first goal is to launch in Zambia and eSwatini and to build the systems that will support many more.
How We’ll Use the £10,000
▶️ £4,000 – Pilot Programme Delivery
Covers training, mentoring, internet access, and local logistics for our first three entrepreneurs.
▶️ £2,000 – Storytelling & Video
Professional case-study videos that showcase real impact and help attract future partners.
▶️ £1,500 – Diaspora Outreach (UK)
Design, print, and micro-event costs to build awareness and relationships in UK African diaspora communities.
▶️ £1,500 – Systems & Compliance
CRM setup, safeguarding policies, insurance, and CIC governance essentials.
▶️ £1,000 – Contingency & Scaling
To keep the pilot on track and seed Phase 2.
