<div>Imagine a space where women come together to find <strong>healing, empowerment, and a true sense of belonging</strong>. At We Hike to Heal, we see the power of nature every day, helping women reclaim wellness, find peace, and build strong connections.

</div>
<div>For many women, our group hikes, retreats, and ambassador-led events have been life-changing experiences—helping them reclaim wellness, build stronger connections, and find peace in nature.
</div>

</div>
<div>Take <strong>Sharon</strong> for example, a 40ish Filipino-American, she joined our second campout during one of the most challenging transitions of her life. Newly retired from her career as an air traffic controller and military veteran, while learning to manage the chronic pain of fibromyalgia had Sharon arriving at the campout feeling uncertain – searching for clarity and a sense of purpose. What she found was more than she ever expected. <strong>"I found myself again," Sharon says</strong>. The healing energy of the women around her, the quiet of the woods, and the space to just be helped her rediscover her strength. She has since joined our team as an Ambassador and now serves as National Ambassador Lead, guiding others on the path of healing and growth that she once walked herself.

<div>This Giving Tuesday, we’re <strong>raising $15,000</strong> to expand our reach and ensure our programs are accessible to more women, regardless of their backgrounds or resources. With your support, we can continue creating transformative experiences that <strong>foster connection</strong>, <strong>inspire growth</strong> and <strong>remind us of our own power</strong>.

</div>
<div>This year, we’re focusing on <strong>two key initiatives</strong> to make the greatest impact:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Ambassador Training and Free Community Hikes</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We empower local ambassadors to lead safe, supportive group hikes for women of all experience levels. Your support ensures that our Ambassadors have all the tools and resources they need to create sacred spaces for women in their local communities. Each Ambassador undergoes a robust training program, including trauma-informed care, facilitation and our unique We Hike to Heal techniques—ensuring that every hike is led with sensitivity, inclusivity, and awareness.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>We currently have <strong>14 Ambassadors across 8 states</strong> and we are in the process of bringing on <strong>11 additional Ambassadors for 2025</strong>! Your donation will provide the essential resources, tools, and support these ambassadors need to transform lives. (Funding need: $5,000)

<div><strong>Campout + BIPOC Retreat Subsidies</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We Hike to Heal hosts 2 annual retreats, our namesake <strong>We Hike to Heal Campout</strong> and our <strong>Rooted Women BIPOC Retreat</strong>. Due to funding challenges, we had to cancel our 2024 retreats, but with 2025 marking the 10th anniversary of our founding company, Outdoor Journal Tour, we are committed to bringing these powerful events back.

</div>
<div>Sonu, a 30-something Indian-American woman, joined our 2023 campout, having recently moved across the country and never having spent a single night away from her husband and child. At check-in she was in tears, doubting whether she should stay. "I almost left," she recalls, "but something told me to stay and push through." <strong>By the end of the weekend, Sonu was glowing with excitement and life, as you see from her testimonial video.</strong> Having pushed herself beyond her previously known limits , she and made a myriad of new friends, and reconnected with her inner strength. "I didn’t know how much I needed this space until I let myself truly be in it," she says.

</div>
<div>Our retreats allow women to fully immerse themselves in nature, creating deep, lasting transformations. Your donations will provide scholarships and subsidies, so cost is never a barrier for those who need these experiences most. (Funding need: $10,000)
