<div>Alternative Breaks is a registered student organization that offers service-learning trips where students spend their breaks exploring pressing social issues through hands-on service, education, and reflection. Each trip is carefully designed to help students engage deeply with communities, learn from diverse stakeholders, and understand the real-world impact of social issues.

<div>Alternative Breaks is entirely student-run. Our Trip Break Leaders facilitate a 2-unit DeCal course, plan a week-long spring break service trip, and collaborate with community partners. Our Directors work behind the scenes to support leaders, manage logistics, and sustain the program.
