I am Shelby who owns my own business, Scooter Girl's Tech Support (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61550243487399) and does a lot for the community through organizations such as StrongTowns. I have a hard time keeping employment like a lot of disabled people right now, but that is why I started my own business. This brings me some money but it is still ramping up. I do not have a car nor can afford one, but am lucky enough to live somewhere with bike trail so I can get to many places.

It is a very long bike trail though. I have done it many times on my kick scooter and/or bike, but it is an Olympian task to do it day after day as it can be 10-18 miles one way. I want to get an e-bike (ironic I know - I looked at e-scooters - most can't do the mileage I need).

Donating to this is supporting a small business and community volunteer helping those in need. With this e-bike I overcome an important obstacle in becoming financially secure which is transportation. E-bikes are far more efficient and cost effective than cars, so you are also supporting the movement away from car-dependency. I am still trying to figure out if I want to get a kit to convert a bike to an e-bike or get a e-bike outright. Let me know your suggestions.

Note: the $1000 I put is just the maximum I think I will need. I will work with any amount I get.
