Empower My Journey to Global Encounters Camp in Kenya!
Spende geschützt
Hello friends and family!
I have been selected to participate in the prestigious Global Encounters Camp, a three-week residential programme that brings together Ismaili secondary school students from around the world. Established in 2012, the camp focuses on service learning, cultural exchange, global citizenship, and leadership development. This year, I will be attending the camp in Kenya, where I will have the unique opportunity to work on community service projects, engage in cultural exchange, and develop leadership skills alongside students from diverse backgrounds.
The programme is organized in collaboration with the Aga Khan Academies and the Aga Khan University, and it provides us with experiential learning opportunities to better understand global development challenges. Through hands-on community service, meaningful discussions, and leadership activities, I hope to broaden my perspective, strengthen my sense of responsibility, and bring these values back to my home community.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to not only make a positive impact but also build lasting relationships and learn from incredible mentors and peers. I am raising funds to cover my travel and participation expenses, and I would be immensely grateful for any support you can offer to help me take part in this life-changing experience.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping me take this step towards becoming a global citizen!
Warm regards,
