Two years ago I left my Program Coordinator role to become a full-time loctician—and discovered my calling. Guiding people through their loc journeys has shown me how hair can restore confidence, identity, and healing.
Now I’m ready to deepen my craft by earning a full cosmetology license at Mosley School of Cosmetology. After all grants, scholarships and my own savings have been applied, $1300 still remains. Classes begin September 8, 2025.
Would you consider one of these ways to help?
1. Contribute: Any amount via here on gofundme or Venmo (@mskcgr) moves me closer.
2. Share: Forward this link to anyone who believes in uplifting others through natural beauty.
3. Encourage: A quick text or prayer means the world while I juggle work, kids, my mom and school.
Why it matters: A license lets me expand services—braids, natural styling, scalp treatments—and mentor young stylists, impacting hundreds of clients each year with affordable, affirming care.
I am grateful for any support you can give and will keep everyone updated on my progress. Thank you for standing with me as I step into a creative, purpose-driven future.
With gratitude,
LaTonya Anderson
