Many of you may be aware of this, but I am helping a troubled youth piece their life back together. The community is rising above and beyond to provide him the love he needs. They have asked how to contribute so I made this to give us all ideas. It’s a work in progress. Thank you all for your assistance in this. Please share if you can. My big goal is to save up enough cash from donations to buy him a cash car when he graduates, help have a savings account developed to give him when he turns 21, and use the donations as tools to give him everything he deserves and more. Today he told me he has never had a friend birthday party before. Just broke my heart. I would like to ask that no one approach him and make him feel uncomfortable about all of this. I want to handle everything, this young man has some extensive trauma he needs to work through. He just wants to be treated like a normal person. Please do not tell your children about this either, in case they have school with him. He doesn’t want any of his classmates finding out or treating him differently because of this. Thank you.

Much love no one should be left behind, abandoned, or treated like they are a lost cause. Everyone deserves love and a second chance.

I have open communication with his parents. I would appreciate it if no one contacted them as well. They don’t need to be harassed or disrespected. Life is already hard enough as it is.

Joseph is a struggling homeless 17 year old who needs a lot of help and guidance in the world. Myself and other amazing people from the community took him under our wing to help him succeed. I found Joseph sleeping outside the library in NRH around 1030 at night. He is staying at my friends house currently, but they need help feeding him and with essentials. I am going to keep their information confidential, any and all packages or gift cards will be sent to me and I will delegate them to those who are assisting him. We are trying to make sure he sees all the love in this world, graduates high school, gets a good job, gets some good medical and mental health started, and learns the essentials of being a functioning adult. His school is amazing and have helped him as much as they can. His parents are aware of the situation and I am in contact with them. CPS and NRHPD are aware of the situation, but since he is 17, and will be 18 on Jan 1, he is viewed as an adult. If you have any questions please email me. This fund will also support taking him to events as a reward for doing well in school, and for working so hard in life. It will cover any extra courses he may desire to take to further his education, and cover any medical/court expenses he may encounter.

We just love him so very much. He is special. We can all see it. We’re not going to stop loving this kid, and we are not giving up.
