<div>Hi! My name is Jenni. I am a single mother of three kids, Ben, Sara and Cedar. A friend convinced me to start this page for the sake of my kids, and for me. She knows how much I love my kids and how much they need me. Its difficult to be "vulnerable " or simply open about struggle. In the past 6 years I have been dealing with health issues that have been debilitating in certain ways and has made it difficult to work. I went through a traumaticly challenging divorce that has still left scars and very little to continue my mothering journey on. I need representation as my kids mother again, and urgent help with housing. My youngest daughter particularly needs more time with me and because of her developmental needs and health concerns that have cropped up. I went from home schooling and being a home nutritionist to spending a lot of time being homeless or almost homeless in the past two years intentionally living out of my car to save money and look for work opportunities, I started studying wild plant medicine and writing a book about my healing journey. Its still a tough world for women, and since beginning as a teenage mother, I don't have a lot of work experience since I was a full time mom all of my adult life thus far. I am repeatedly saddened by work cultures that don't support women. since becoming a single mom I have endured sexual harassment and sexual assault in work place settings. Post traumatic stress disorder with life long adhd has combined with other health problems making life a lot more difficult, everything from medical visits to housing to job hunting has felt so overwhelming. and I am still healing. Its a journey and a climb and like raising children, it takes a village to heal. I have consulted with friends and family, elders and religious leaders and the path keeps leading to my kids. They need their mom, and I need them. I have intentions to continue serving my community as a midwife and birth keeper. I deeply value helping women, but I have had to learn the lesson of being willing to ask for help, and receive. I want to give back, I want to keep serving and uplifting people and things that I believe in deeply. I have an intention to continue to paint, study herbs, write a book, and get though school, and continue fighting for my kids... all of which I know I can successfully do with the right support.
