Empower Glades Youth: Basketball Camp Fundraiser

Dear Supporters,

We invite you to join us in making a difference in the lives of the youth in Belle Glade, as we embark on an incredible journey to create the very first basketball camp in our beloved community. Our mission is to provide a beacon of hope and opportunities for the kids in this area, and we need your help to achieve this goal.

Process Driven Hoops, in collaboration with the City of Belle Glade, has set out to establish a FREE basketball camp for the children of Glades. Led by Coach Charlie Velazquez, a Belle Glade native, this initiative aims to give back to the community that has shaped him, both on and off the court. The camp will also feature Professional Basketball Players - Elvis Harvey Jr., Crystal Primm and several other college basketball players.

As a young kid, Coach Charlie had limited resources and faced numerous obstacles, but he found his way through basketball. He not only excelled in the sport but also used it as a stepping stone to pursue higher education and eventually become a professional basketball trainer. Now, he seeks to share the power of faith, grit, and determination with the kids of Belle Glade, arming them with the skills and knowledge to overcome adversity and unlock their full potential.

Belle Glade is an area known for its economic struggles, where opportunities are scarce, and dreams often go unfulfilled. Through this basketball camp, we aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children to learn, grow, and be inspired. With your generous support, we will cover all camp-related expenses to ensure that every child, regardless of financial circumstances, can participate.

The camp will not only focus on basketball skills but also provide mentorship and life skills. We firmly believe that by empowering the youth of Belle Glade, we can create a positive ripple effect that will extend far beyond the basketball court.
