We are the Kent State University chapter of MEDLIFE, which stands for Medicine, Education, and Development for Low-Income Families Everywhere. Our chapter was founded in 2024 by 3 students with a passion for global health education and long-term healthcare solutions for low-income communities, both locally and abroad.

Now, we are hoping to support our members who plan to go to Lima, Peru for their first Service Learning Trip (SLT)! Raised funds will go toward making this life-changing experience more affordable and possible for our members, as well as general member activities. SLTs are an invaluable resource for any future healthcare professional seeking to advocate for their patients in surrounding communities. Members get to shadow Peruvian physicians, learn about global healthcare disparities, explore Lima, and so much more.
