Empowering Children with Special Needs
Donation protected
Last spring when schools closed and all children had to stay home, I knew something had to be done to ensure children with special needs had access to assistive technology and adapted equipment. This gave birth to the Nonprofit EXCEPTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES!
The mission of Exceptional Opportunities is to enable children, with special needs, to be active family members, successful students, and productive members of the community, by providing adapted equipment and assistive technology for the home environment.
We are a grant writing, donation seeking, fundraising machine!
Our webpage is almost done and will enable parents and caregivers to apply for grants for assistive technology or adapted equipment specific to their child's needs.
So far, our mission has been personally funded by our founder. We are seeking assistance from anyone who would be willing to support Exceptional Opportunities and create our initial funding base. Once we get the approval from the state, we can begin accepting applications for grants.
Exceptional Opportunities and our future grantees thank you for your generous support.
