<div>Ccotataqui is a small Indigenous community located in the high mountains of Cusco, Peru, near Pisac.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For many years, this community has been working on building water reservoirs, which have significantly improved its food security during the dry season. This work has been made possible with the support of many friends from around the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ccotataqui was once one of the poorest communities in the district of Pisac. Today, it is thriving and serves as an inspiring example of self-determination and community effort rooted in ancestral traditions.

</div>
<div>Now, the children are asking for a program tailored for them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In response to this request, and with the support of the community, we have created a four-week program to teach circus skills to the children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The program will focus on creating a space that encourages physical development through activities like juggling and acrobatics. It will also enhance cognitive skills by improving focus and problem-solving abilities, boost confidence and self-esteem through the mastery of new challenges, and cultivate essential social skills such as teamwork, communication, and empathy in a supportive environment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support will allow us to hire a professional teacher and a helper, cover transportation costs to and from the community from the nearest town (Pisac), provide the children with a healthy snack after each class, give sneakers to the children attending the program, and pay for all necessary materials and equipment for the program.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much for responding to the request of the children of Ccotataqui.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love and gratitude,
</div>
