As a Native woman, I take pride in raising two remarkable children. My son, Brazos Ray, is a 14-year-old who, despite being a man of few words, impressively showcases his extensive knowledge of movies, music, and sports. My daughter, Maize Monarch, is a spirited 12-year-old who has demonstrated independence since the womb and is unafraid to express her opinions.

Additionally, I am married to a strong, family-oriented woman who passionately advocates for her beliefs. Together, we are a powerful household; however, there are challenges we cannot navigate alone. For the past six years, my wife and I have diligently worked to ensure our children benefit from a balanced upbringing as they alternate time between our home and their father's. Unfortunately, this endeavor has escalated, as their father has resorted to the court system, seeking to resolve our situation through a jury trial, effectively placing our family's circumstances in the hands of strangers.

Throughout this journey, I have retained multiple attorneys with the hope that they would successfully navigate this challenging battle; however, none have achieved the desired outcome. This then led me to believe that with sufficient preparation, I could advocate for myself and secure a victory.
