Help Aleksandra to Regain Her Vision and Home
Donation protected
Hello, friends! This is my attempt to help my half-sister, Aleksandra Garbuz, raise funds to cope with really tragic events in her life. She lives in Moldova. So far, she has tried to survive on her own, but the expenses have become too overwhelming. Here's her story:
"I was not ready to lose my eyesight at 28. I was not prepared for the time when I wouldn't be able to work and help other people—I am a nurse. Most of all, I was not ready to lose my mother—her death was a complete shock and surprise for me. I was not ready to inherit 15 cats from my mom's home shelter in need of adoption. I also inherited her apartment with huge debts and loans that are now my obligation. This apartment is my childhood home, and I don't want to lose it. I cannot work, but I still have to pay off these debts; otherwise, I will be deprived of my only home. I still need to undergo many eye surgeries to try to recover my eyesight, at least to some extent. Because of my disability, I don't know when I will be able to work again, if at all. The amount of about $10,000 is an unbearable burden for me, but maybe with the help of kind people, I will be able to keep my home. Help, please! God bless you."
Thank you for all your kind support.
