Empower a Leader: Donate for a Laptop

This is an great opportunity to make a huge difference for a leader starting out in the world. Last spring, as we were getting ready to launch Why We Lead, the first national study of AANHPI girls and gender expansive youth, I went to a youth-led Zoom meeting. The young person in charge of my breakout room was powerful. She had great energy, listened fully, and synthesized what she heard. I hope to facilitate as well as she did some day. What she didn't have was a computer. You could tell from her Zoom square that she was leading from a phone. I've now attended several meetings led by her, and finally learned that this charismatic, brilliant, and engaging college student working multiple jobs, presenting at virtual conferences and webinars doesn't have a laptop.

This is a future president. If she has a computer to write her papers on. So please donate what you can, and any donation makes a different. If we can raise $1,300, we can get her a computer with three years of Apple Care, if we can raise more then we can go for the protective bag, and more supplies for a full time student working a couple of jobs.
