Support Emporium Latino- fire recovery

UPDATE 2: If you wish to contact Emporium Latino please do so by emailing [email redacted]
This campaign's Inbox goes to the campaign organizers and not Emporium Latino. Thanks!

UPDATE 1: I have spoken with Ceci's son and the campaign will be set up so Ceci receives the funds directly so they can use it for them and their employees.

Emporium Latino, a local and loved Kensington Market staple, suffered a devastating fire on October 17th, 2020.

Ceci and Jose are two lovely Salvadoran immigrants that moved to Canada during El Salvador's Civil War in the 80s. They are important members of the community that make everyone feel welcome into their store.

This fundraiser is intended to support the owners and their employees to recover from the losses that the fire caused. 100% of the funds after fees will be delivered to Ceci and Mauricio to use for themselves and distribute to their employees.51980518_1603049483105787_r.jpeg

"Emporium Latino is a tiny, unassuming grocery store in Kensington Market that flies way under the radar, unless you're Latin American. Walk directly past the imported aliments and you'll see an older lady clasping her hands together to form a little piece of Salvadorian heaven."
