Emporium Arcade Bar Employee Relief Fund

Hey everyone! As many of you are aware, Emporium Arcade Bars have closed until further notice per the state of Illinois order. We are hoping to be back and serving all of our wonderful patrons that have supported us for so many years, but there is a high chance the mandatory shutdown could go on for weeks. We are doing everything in our power to help our staff that have helped Emporium become what it is today, but sadly we are expecting unemployment for many weeks to come.
Please Note: This GoFund me is solely set up for our entire team (Bartenders, Barbacks, Hourly Managers, and Security) who have made the 8 years of being open all possible. 100% of all donations will go directly to our most affected staff during these very hard and unsure times. This GoFundMe has been organized by Claire Warne (Regional Manager) and Lindsay Breckheimer (Event Booking/Production Manager). We assure all our supporters that all donations will be distributed fairly and evenly amongst our team.
A little background to Emporium Arcade bar: Emporium Wicker Park opened in June 2012 with a small team, the first arcade bar of its kind in Chicago! Throughout the years thanks to support from our guests, we were able to open up Emporium Logan Square and Emporium Fulton Market in Chicago. Not only has Emporium been a spot to get lost in some of your favorite arcade games, but we’ve been fortunate to have so many local and extremely talented DJs, bands, artists, and more throughout the years.
Without our friends & patrons, we would not be Emporium Arcade Bar. You have supported us tremendously, beat our staff high scores, shared many laughs, and maybe even been subject to taking our Emporium team’s favorite shot...the Lunch Box. All of the memories you have created are forever instilled in the Emporium Arcade Bar family.
Friends, family, guests, we are asking for your support in this uncertain time, so we can help our team (over 50 incredible humans) feel relief of some financial burdens that they are now facing. We have been so thankful to have such an amazing crew and when we get through the closures and tough times, we hope to open back up with our same family.
We truly are so incredibly thankful for your support, and we are so happy to be part of the Chicago family. Chicago is strong and we stick together through all of it. We love all of you and are looking forward to being together again very soon.
