Employment and Training For Refugee Women

Tax deductible

You can make a difference to the lives of refugee women and the environment by donating today to Dirty Girls.

After diverting 60,000 tons of material, used in refugee aid, from landfill in Greece, Dirty Girls is now in London; still working for refugees and the environment.

Due to reasons such as little English or non transferable qualifications women who arrived in the UK as refugees, when given the right to work, still struggle to find employment.
Dirty Girls will assist women to become contributing members of British society by employing them while they learn to develop bag making skills. Concurrently they will be offered English classes and life skills workshops.

Dirty Girls continues a commitment to helping reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill. The leftover high quality fabrics used for creating costumes in film and TV will be used for making the bags.

Dirty Girls Bag Collection will have Messenger, Backpack, Beach, Cafe, Boi and Tote bags. Each bag will be individually crafted and created as different fabrics become available from costume departments.

The plan is to become self sufficient from bag sales after twelve months, but in the meantime Dirty Girls needs financial help with running costs as women undergo training.
