Employed homeless man needs help

Donation protected
This image was taken Sunday morning after the temperature had dropped to a low of 13. It was posted on a local board with the caption “how would you like to live like this?” The person that posted then made comments about how he had a “nice bike”, a cellphone, and “ate well” so there was no need to feel sorry for him. The comments began to flood from concerned citizens wanting to help and the post was soon deleted. As I sat in my heated home, I couldn’t get this image out of my head. I couldn’t help but wonder who this was and how heartbreaking it is to live alone behind a dumpster in the freezing cold. After doing some digging, I learned who this person is and where he works, which is a local fast food restaurant. No one at his work knew of his situation and that he was homeless. He told them that he lived in a hotel because he was too prideful to ask for help. I am working with his coworkers to get him this money. I have also been told that he is the sweetest man and is not on any drugs, he just fell on to some hard times. It’s so easy to make assumptions and judge someone without knowing their story. This man works and is not asking for any handouts, but I want to help this guy get back on his feet. Please help if you can, any small amount may change his whole world. Also, say a prayer for him and please share his story!
