Hello there,
This fundraising campaign is in search to raise $700 for a video message shout-out from Emmitt Smith (through website Cameo) for my father's upcoming birthday video I am creating! Emmitt Smith is my dad's favorite player of all time!
I am trying to win the "son of the year award" (not actually) & WOW my father with this unique gift! The video I am creating is made up of clips sent to me by family & friends wishing him a happy birthday & anything else they might want to say. My goal is to compile AS MANY clips as I possibly can before his birthday! The hopeful clip from Emmitt Smith would be put at the end of the video as the BIG finale!
My father will be turning 52 on Sept 28th this year! He is an absolute die hard Cowboys fan & has been since he was a little boy. I was able to surprise him with tickets back in 2015 (profile picture of this fundraiser), SO I am trying to take it up a notch on the WOW scale!
My father has had not just a rough 2020, but a rocky road life. He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when I was only a year or so old (I’m 24) & has had many health problems to follow. By the grace of God, he’s a walking miracle & somehow to this day works construction! It’s all paid a toll on him but he’s been nothing but a dedicated Godly example to myself, my siblings, my mother & more.
ALSO ~ this is a complete SURPRISE & he has no idea about any of this. The video will be presented to him on September 28th through my Youtube Channel - Traveling Tekkers! Please feel free to tune in to watch it as well. I will also be recording his live reaction to this video WHICH I will also post on my Youtube Channel days after.
It would mean so much to me if I can make this happen, but it would mean the WORLD to my dad. He never asks for anything & I could never repay everything he has done for me this far in my lifetime - but I'd like to one day say.. I came close to it.
