Emma's Eagle Eyes

Emma was born at 36 weeks with a diagnosis of Congenital CMV. We were given a grim prognosis of "if" she were born alive, she wouldn't live past the age of 2. Em is now 13 and thriving!! She is non mobile and non verbal which means we have to decipher what each cry/laugh means, much like having an infant. She has a gtube, baclofen pump and a cochlear implant. Emma hasn't had a seizure in 2 yrs (knocking on wood) and she needs a means of expressing her wants and needs. Eagle Eyes will provide her with her 'voice'. She's capable of making choices- but only the choices we give her. This program gives her the freedom to tell us what she needs and wants! Im so excited to get to know my baby girl with this new technology. She deserves to live life to the fullest because she's fought so hard to prove all those Drs wrong from the very beginning. Let's put her story in the statistics of the ones that survived, thrived and changed our world.
