Hi Everyone!
We just wanted to share that there is an opportunity to remove the mass in Emmanuel's abdominal area in the hospital he is in right now.
We will stop, all the fundraising for this moment.
Thank you very much for all your prayers and donations.
After this surgery, Emmanuel will need several more surgeries to be able to reconstruct his intimate parts.
As far as we know this procedure it's not performed in Nicaragua.
The money we have gathered so far will fund the following procedures. This is his mom's wish.
We will keep you posted.

Hi everyone!
I want to share with you the latest news regarding Emmanuel's case.
This little prince is a warrior by the grace of God! He got out of the ICU. Now he is in a room with his Mom. She is always by his side and is taking good care of him.
He had an infection, and he has now overcome the infection as well.
There is hope for our little angel since they can try to remove the mass in his abdominal area in a semi-private hospital. The cost for the procedure is less than we originally planned.
But we still need your help, to be able to provide this opportunity for him.
Please keep sharing and if it is in your heart to donate please do. There is no small donation.

Hi Everyone!
This is Emmanuel. He is 9 months old. He lives in Nicaragua, a developing country in Central America.
He was born with Myelomeningocele, which is a birth defect in which the backbone and spinal canal do not close before birth. The condition is a type of spina bifida.
Emmanuel should have been treated right before birth, but he wasn’t and his situation has now turned very critical. Now there is a huge mass in his abdominal area that is causing him pain and it needs to be removed by surgery.
Other congenital disorders or birth defects may also be present in a child with myelomeningocele. Hydrocephalus is one of them and Emmanuel has it. Multiple surgeries have been performed to drain the fluid out of his brain.
Unfortunately, Emmanuel’s family has very limited resources to cover the treatment that he needs. The only treatment they can afford is the one that is given by public healthcare, in which they also have limited resources as well.
Yessenia is Emmanuel’s mom. She and her husband are from a town outside the capital in the north of the country. Right now, she is living in the hospital’s shelter to be with her son. Emmanuel’s dad’s job is in jeopardy because he has requested too many sick leaves and vacations to be with his son. He is the provider for the family and his salary is around the minimum wage.
Help outside the country has been requested to some foundations but Emmanuel’s case is very severe and advanced that most of those foundations don’t want to take the risk. We are trying to gather the money to pay for his treatment outside Nicaragua.
That is why we are asking for your help to make the difference in this child’s life, to give him a chance to have the treatment he needs to make it through. We know it will be a life full of challenges but it will still be a life for this little angel!

Hola amigos queremos compartir con ustedes mas noticias relacionadas con el caso de nuestro principe guerrero Emmanuelito.
Gracias a Dios, el ya no se encuentra en una sala de cuidados intensivos. Esta en una sala con su mama, donde ella siempre esta con el :) . Ambos todavia se encuentran en el hospital La Mascota.
El ha podido superar una infeccion causada por una bacteria que lo estaba atacando muy fuertemente.
Hay posibilidad de operar a Emmanuel para removar la masa en su abdomen en Nicaragua, en el hospital Monte España. El costo del procedimiento en Nicaragua es muchisimo menor de lo que se habia estimado.
Emmanuelito, todavia necesita toda nuestra ayuda para que se le pueda realizar esta intervencion.
Por favor sigamos compartiendo el link para que el mensaje pueda llegar a mas personas. Si esta en su corazon hacer una pequena donacion, bienvenida sea.

Queremos compartir las ultimas noticas sobre nuestro principe guerrero.
Luego de diversas evaluaciones, los medicos del hospital en el cual se encuentra Emmanuel, han decido operarlo muy pronto, para removar la masa que tiene en su abdomen.
Estamos deteniendo por el momento la recolecta de fondos.
Muchas gracias por todas sus oraciones y donaciones.
Luego de esta cirugia, Emmanuel necesitara otras para reconstruir sus partes intimas.
Hasta donde tenemos entendido este tipo de cirugias, no se realizan en Nicaragua.
Todo el dinero que ha sido recaudado en esta pagina, sera destinado para financiar las siguientes cirugias. Este es el deseo de su mama.
Los mantendremos informados.

Volvemos a compartir noticias de Emmanuel. Lo operacion no sera realizada en el hospital La Mascota. Es un procedimiento muy complicado, y es recomendable realizarla fuera del pais.
Seguiremos reuniendo fondos para poder realizar el procediemento fuera del pais.
