Emmanuel Fighting Leukemia (AML)

Donation protected
On 9/13/17, my son was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Due to this sudden family emergency, my husband and I have not been to work since this date. Instead, we have been bedside with our son. He is undergoing his initial 30-day chemotherapy at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA.  He is about to start another cycle of chemotherapy, which is estimated to take about 4 wks long. Then he will be transffered to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance for outpaitent treatment and to Seattle Childrens Hospistal for his Bone Marrow Transplant. This procedure (and recovery) is expected to last at least 5 months long, or longer, depending on how his body responds to the treatment. We have four (4) more children at home whom we are trying to provide for as well. This news has been devastating to me and my family.

The purpose of this fund is to help pay for the cost of Emmanuel's care. The cost will include inpatient hospitalization, travel expenses (i.e., gas, toll bridge fees, ferry fees) and temporary housing that is mandatory by Seattle Cancer Care Alliance to live within a block radius from the treatment facility.

These fund are greatly appreciated sooner rather than later due to associated expenses that are quickly accumulating.  For instance, it is a 45-mile trip (in one direction) from our home to Madigan Army Medical Center, not to mention the Tacoma Narrow Bridge fee we pay each time when entering Tacoma, WA.

On behalf of my family, we want to say thank you in advance for all your help, love and prayers!
