EmmaJean’s Bone Tumor

Hello, 
My name is EmmaJean Damon and I’m 21 years old. And I have a bone tumor on my right femur which will need surgery to remove. I’m currently working full time as a LPN. And I’m still enrolled at UNM working towards a double major in both philosophy and sociology. However because of the health issues that I’m dealing with school is on pause and makes working full-time all the much harder. 
In February 2018 I began having pain on my right side which I thought was just bad cramps. Little did I know that the pain was coming from something else. In April 2018 MRI  imaging showed that I had a tumor apx 3cm on my right proximal femur, and that was the source of my pain. From May 2018 - August 2018 I attended many different doctors appointments, getting new images, different tests, and conflicting opinions whether I had cancer or not. All during this time the pain got worse and worse. The pain has gotten to where at night I sometimes can’t sleep, or after work I come home crying barely able to make it up the stairs. 
In September 2018 I finally got an appointment with the states only Orthopedic Oncologist . He has decided to do a complete biopsy to remove the whole tumor from my leg now in December 2018. Giving my leg sometime to heal from a biopsy that was a traumatic experience for me. 
Now with a plan, I have to overcome a new obstacle. I have been at my new job for about 8months. I have accrued some PTO but not enough to take 4-6 weeks off (the estimated recovery period). And per company policy I do not qualify for FMLA (an employee has to be employed for 1yr to qualify). So with little PTO and no guarantee that I will return from this surgery with a job, I am asking for some financial assistance . The money would be used to cover all my medical bills, and take the stress off of me as I won’t receive a paycheck during those 4-6 weeks. 
I live paycheck to paycheck as I know most of you do. And I do understand that not everyone may have the finances to donate. But prayers and words of encouragement would be more than enough to guide me through this stressful and scary time of my life.
