Emma Hatter

Hi, my name is Weaton and I am fundraising for Emma. Emma has been working with my family and me for nearly one year and has been a great individual to know and work with. You would never know it by her positive attitude, but she has gone through so much in her life up to this point. In her twenties, she battled cancer and won, but despite having insurance was still left with significant amounts of debt. More recently, her husband had a massive stroke just as he was working on getting workplace insurance. Unfortunately, the paperwork was not completed on time, so he was not covered. A little over a year ago, Emma started having health problems again and it wasn't until recently that the doctors identified that she had a bad gallbladder. Approximately two weeks ago, she was able to have surgury and have her gallbladder removed. The doctor said hers was one of the worst cases he had ever seen. Emma does have health insurance, but to pay for fees and deductibles not covered by insurance, she decided to temporarily cancel her auto insurance to have the necessary funds. A few days after her insurance was canceled, her car was totalled from swerving to avoid a deer (wild animals on the road are common in the area).

Emma currently has a good job, but with all these things that have happened, she is in great need of a little extra help. She still has medical bills to take care of and no vehicle for transportation (a challenging situation in the remote town of Stanley, Idaho). Please consider donating a small amount to help Emma out. Any funds donated will go towards helping with her medical payments and getting an affordable vehicle, if possible.
