Emma Belle Eve Preemie Fund
My daughter and son-in-law, Meagan and Jeremy Messuri, welcomed their sweet baby girl, Emma Belle Eve, as their beautiful Christmas Eve blessing.
Meagan went into the hospital on 12/22/17 and was admitted and monitored for severe preeclampsia. To keep mom and baby safe, her doctors decided to deliver Emma early. At 30 weeks gestational age, Emma made her premature arrival 10 weeks earlier than anticipated, weighing 2 lbs. 8 oz and 15” long.
Emma has a long road ahead of her as she grows strong during an extended hospital stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), before an anticipated homecoming in early March.
The fund will be used for medical expenses from Emma’s critical hospital care, costs from a complicated pregnancy, and lost wages for Meagan as she cares for Emma when she is able to come home. These caring and hard working parents need help during this joyous, but difficult journey.
Emma is doing well, and your prayers and well wishes are greatly appreciated for her continued strength and growth. I will keep this page updated with Emma’s progress, so we can share together with her Mommy and Daddy, in her achieved milestones. We thank you for the love and support from family and friends.
