I am so excited to share with you that God has been moving me in an amazing direction lately! After much prayer, thought, and counsel, I have applied to YWAM’s Discipleship Training School. Youth With A Mission is a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups, and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. YWAM’s mission is to unite in a common purpose to know God and to make Him known.
The specific DTS (Discipleship Training School) that I have been accepted into is in Budapest, Hungary! During the first phase (3 months), I will be learning on the different aspects of God, our relationship to God and how God uses you to make a difference including topics like spiritual warfare, my identity in Christ, and Cross Cultural missions. The second phase is the outreach portion where I will get a chance to apply what I’ve learned in DTS. Some areas we could visit are central and eastern Europe(Armenia, Romania), Balkan region (Albania, Bulgaria) or India, just to name a few!
I would like to offer you and your families the opportunity to partner with me in this. I have gotten to the place I am today because of prayer and wonderful people like you supporting me in my journey with Christ. I cannot do this alone. I need your prayers! As much as this will be a great experience, I also know it will be physically, emotionally and spiritually stretching at times. Your thoughts and prayers will be a huge blessing.
In addition to needing prayer support, I am also in need of financial support. The DTS is going to cost approximately $6,000, depending on the location of our outreach, and there are several other factors such as health insurance, airfare, etc. I am currently working on saving money, selling my car, and other things to get money, but this will not cover it all!
My DTS will start on September 14th and I need the first half of my tuition and travel expense by then ($3200).
Please join me in praying that all the finances come through and I ask for continued prayer support throughout my journey.
