Em&will fundraising for those with Cancer & Covid

It’s been a long few weeks as a family and I feel opening up is the one way that has helped me to cope with everything that has hit us. I thought I knew what pain felt like but I didn’t until my amazing,strong, kind, inspirational mom was taken ill to hospital. At first we thought Covid was the cause but then the news got worse. After the medical professionals worked tirelessly to perform tests and scans day after day to figure out that they have confirmed  mom has cancer As you can probably imagine it has shaken us and turned our world upside down. But for my mom we remain strong and we will continue to fight. We will deal with whatever it throws at us together. I am asking my family and friends for a small donation on my fundraiser Page to donate to the ward that has cared for my mom over the last few weeks and continue to care for her. The nurses, students, doctors, consultants who have tirelessly worked around the clock to support mom, look after her when we couldn’t, emotionally support her when we couldn’t be with her to hold her hand and process the news together. For all the tests they have done to dig out this life changing problem that we knew nothing about. I myself work for the NHS and know how difficult it is working around the clock during a global pandemic and caring for the most sick patients. Therefore if I can help to make a difference to someone else’s life, to support someone’s else’s relative that is in hospital suffering from Covid, cancer or another health related issue I would really appreciate this. This will also be part of my birthday fundraiser as I want to thank them for all they have done. Cancer may have started this fight but we are going to finish it, time to beat cancers ass!
