<div><strong>Youth Mentoring Action Network (YMAN)</strong> is a youth power-building organization located in Claremont, California, whose mission is to facilitate transformative mentoring, education, and wellness opportunities with young people across the globe. This organization provides a place for young people to pursue what’s important to them as change agents in their schools and their communities.

<div>YMAN’s Guiding Principles highlight the importance of centering youth voices and allowing young people to create, thrive, and grow as youth entrepreneurs and movement leaders. As a young person, Emily was outspoken and opinionated. She stood up for others and challenged the idea that young people's beliefs or experiences were less valuable than adults'.
