Emily's Accessible Extension

Emily has grown into a beautiful teenager, and her wheelchair and all her equipment has grown with her. It is now at the point where our home needs to alter so that she gets the most out of life.
We now need to extend our tiny bungalow to give her more independence, privacy & a better quality of life.
We are able to get a Disabled Facilities Grant, however as shown with the many quotes we received, it will not cover the true cost of making our home completely accessible for her. Therefore, we need to raise money for the rest.
Dan (Emily's dad) has been lucky to have 3 part time jobs, whilst I am Emily's full time carer. He is earning enough to pay our bills, but not enough for any extras. We were able to pay for the architect's drawings and building regulations before we ran out of savings. We already have the planning permission.
