Emily Wright's Cancer Battle

In August of 2015 Emily was diagnosed with breast cancer (triple negative), she had the first tumor removed surgically, then a second tumor grew back within months. She felt that it was time to attack the cancer using a more natural approach and began seeing Dr. Doughty in Harvey MI for assistance. She changed her diet and began using supplements to help her body to fight naturally. All was going well until October of 2017 when a tumor metastasized to the brain. She successfully underwent brain surgery in November of 2017 to remove the tumor and also began fundraising to attend a cancer clinic in Germany where she could receive natural care. Just days before leaving for Germany, an upper body MRI was conducted and showed extensive metastasis throughout her core (Lungs, bones, liver, kidney, lymph nodes, etc). The clinic in Germany was able to treat her successfully with supportive IV's and also a vaccine that will stay in her system for life and continue to fight the cancer cells . When Emily & Jeremy returned to the States at the end of January 2018, a PET scan was conducted that showed more detail of what was already known from the MRI. Because of the rapid growth rate, all of Emily's doctors agreed that chemotherapy was the next step. Chemo began in early March 2018 and is still being given. The most recent PET Scan and brain MRI showed an increase in metastases and/or size in each of the tumors. However, we are confident that the Lord is still planning to do a powerful healing work in Emily's body.
