My name is Emily, and I have been accepted into the New Studio Summer Music Theatre program at NYU Tisch.

I became interested in theatre at a very young age. I've always loved going to see shows, and dressing up and performing, whether it be in a musical, for dance, for gymnastics, or anything else. I've gotten the chance to be in many great shows including Shrek the Musical (as Princess Fiona; pictured), Cats, Hello, Dolly!, and I hope to be in many more. I hope to improve and one day fufill my dreams of starring in a Braodway show.

This wonderful program offers different acting, singing, and dance classes, which will really help me develop my skills as a performer and work towards my goal of gettng into a conservatory musical theatre program for college.  I also get the opportunity to live on the NYU campus for four whole weeks, and will earn 6 college credits! I need your help to cover the tuition, room and board, as well as other program fees. 

I only have until mid-May to pay all of my fees, or I will not be able to accept this amazing opportunity.
