My Sweet Emily Rose
My Emily had Protein Losing Enteropathy in 2016, & we almost lost her.
After being stabilized by the efforts of the ABC Animal Hospital in Suisun, & the Animal Hospital in Fairfield CA, she was treated at the SAGE Medical Center in Concord. She was given Chemo & B-+12 which helped save her life.
For the last two years she has not had a flare up. She had a younger sister named Meggie Moo Rose that help lift her spirits. Sadly our Meggie passed away on 8-24-17.
Emily use to sadly search all over for her, & she still perks up at the sound of squeaky puppy barks.
I'm not ready to let her go just yet, because she is fighting back. If it was in her best interests for her quality of life.. I would put her needs before my own without a second thought.
I was able with the help of friends on Facebook to get her treatment locally, but would like to return to SAGE so she can see a Specialist, get labs, & treatment.
It's very unsettling to rub her back & feel her ribs & spine so pronounced.
