[Friday morning] October 16, 2020

My daughter Emily went scuba diving, & what should have been a happy & joyful experience has turned into a nightmare.

Apparently the crew that took her out was incompetent. They abandoned her at 65 foot deep. She had no rope, no safety equipment. They just left her. She came up to the surface too quickly.

The change occurred abruptly & within minutes I saw her status plummet. Very scary for a mom to watch.  She got to where she couldn't walk. Barely able to talk. Really struggling. Like having a stroke. Tremendous pain in back, joints, and head. Receiving treatment with hyperbaric.

She's been unemployed since the CV-19 shutdown. She doesn't have insurance. Expenses are already over 10,000 in the first day.

If all goes well we're looking at $35,000. None of it covered by Insurance.

[Friday night]

It's been a very long day. We started at 4 a.m....

The Navy SEAL told us it's the worst case he's ever treated of decompression sickness. We're hopeful and praying the challenges are temporary and not permanent. Tomorrow should tell us a lot. This evening she received 30,000mg of IV Vit C. 9am she goes back in the chamber for more hours.

[Saturday morning] October 17, 2020

Emily is back in the chamber. Last night she had chest pain breathing only room air. Her speech is still not normal. She remains unsteady, can't stand alone. She is very weak.

What was once a very lively, joyful, energetic young woman who enjoyed life, has suddenly  become dependent on someone else to bath, go to the bathroom, stand, write, or do the simplest everyday tasks of daily life.

High doses of IV Vitamin C, & HBOT are needed to get through the day.
[HBOT is hyperbaric oxygen therapy]

Prayers are much appreciated!! Thank you for caring about my baby girl. She is a bright ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, & needs our help to regain her twinkle.

OCTOBER 17 UPDATE :
replenish IV SOLUTIONS in Tampa offers an extraordinary service. They provide IV therapy 24/7 at your home, office or hotel, as well as in their 3 facilities.

Here are the IV ingredients Emily received [daily IV during HBOT & after] :

Vitamin C 30,000 mg

B12 4000 mg

Glutathione 2000mg

Alpha lipoic acid 25 mg

Zinc 1.5 mg

Selenium 600 micrograms

B complex

Calcium 200 mg

Magnesium 800 mg

We continue this treatment next week, because it really helps!! Antioxidants are so important to prevent further damage and to help heal quickly when you have an injury. The IV vitamin C will be increased to 60 grams on the next dose, and 100 grams after. It's been shown to wake a comatose patient after a year or more! Miracles do happen!
