Donation protected
To know her was to love her! Her smile lit up every room she entered. It is with a heavy heart that we share in the pain for our tragic loss of our precious daughter and sister, Emily Beckham. We have set up this account for those of you who would like to donate to her funeral expenses. We truly appreciate all of your love and support. Please keep our family in your prayers especially our sweet Evelyn and Renee . it was a tragic car accident and devastating to our family. Renee the youngest, is out of ICU but needs continued prayers for her mental health. The second oldest, Evelyn , is in a coma showing no signs of brain activity. She may not make it. Please pray for her, please pray that the Lord would move swiftly in what ever his plan is for her. Emily’s boyfriend, Jordan was also in the wreck. He is in ICU at another hospital, please pray for Jordan and for the Lord to give strength to his family as well . -.

This is the official and only go fund me account being set up by our family.

Update On New Year’s Day my three sisters (Emily, Evelyn and Renee) and a friend (Jordan) drove to the movies in Fort Worth, TX to see Frozen 2. All the girls love Frozen but it was Emily’s favorite movie and Jordan went because he liked Emily. They were expected home at 11:00 but hadn’t contacted my mother to let her know they were running behind and that’s how mom knew something was wrong. Starting at 11:02 mom franticly and repeatedly called my sisters one after another desperately looking for them. Mom was still holding the phone when the hospital called at 11:28 to calmly advise her an accident had occurred. At the hospital, my parents learned a white Chevy truck cut the kids off, Emily lost control of her jeep and the truck kept going. The following day my mom read online Emily was pronounced dead at 11:02 so she knew Jesus called at the same time she was calling. Renee spent a week in the hospital but will eventually physically heal. It’s the guilt of surviving and the sounds of the crash followed by the deafening silence of her loved ones that haunts her. Jordan, was finally released from the hospital with multiple issues but still has much healing to do. Evelyn was sitting behind Emily and it was the driver’s side of the jeep that took the blunt of the crash. She suffered numerous injuries and immense brain damage as portions of the of jeep caved in. We buried Emily on January the 13th at 11:00 and for over a month now, one of my parents has been by Evelyn’s side around the clock despertly looking for any sign of purposeful movement. Unfortunately, my parents recently realized Evelyn’s recovery isn’t going to take place here. Instead, she’ll be made whole in Heaven with Emily, her sister, protector and best friend. So, Evelyn has been placed on Hospice where my parents continue their vigilance by her side but due to Evelyn’s age and overall physical health, my parents have been told this journey could be longer than they expected. Not that it would turn back time but the driver of the Chevy truck has yet to come forward or be found. We feel like our hearts have been ripped out as we walk past empty bedrooms, empty chairs, happy family portraits and endure so much silence at home. We feel like our arms have been ripped off as we can’t do anything about the situation and brace ourselves for the funeral of another sister. Yet, while all this has been hell on earth my family has seen many earthly angels too. It’s amazing how many there are and how when we get into the darkest of places they always show up as light, reminding us we aren’t alone. Thank you is really not enough when people exceed beyond nice and opt to make a difference but I don’t know what else to say. I’ll just pray all the earthly angels that have shown up in so many ways, that have gone the distance with us and still stand, that have prayed and have given us light in so many ways reap ten times the feeling and blessing we’ve received. So, thank you from our hearts for your heart and from your prayer to ours, thank you more than words can say. https://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/fort-worth/article238971958.html
