Emilio's Transplant/PFIC Illness

My Son Emilio was diagnosed with Progressive Familial Intrahepatic Cholestasis  (PFIC) at age 2. Throughout his short life, he has been with specialists and under the care of his pediatrician. On January 7, 2020 we rushed our son to the Emergency Room due to excessive vomiting, which resulted in internal bleeding, and after a serious of tests, we were told he has in the final stages of the illness. He has been in the hospital since January 7, 2020, on the waiting list for a liver transplant. Unfortunately, this has been a huge impact to my family, and a financial toll as hospital bills have been adding up. We expect this to be a long journey, as we wait for a donor, and hope he will live long enough to wait for a donor. He is currently on the donor waiting list but in the hospital. Due to his hospital stay, I had to leave my job and reduced to one income. Anything you can help us for medical bills, medicines, and loss of income as we fight this battle of his life to survive. 

Mi hijo Emilio fue diagnosticado con Colestasis Intrahepatica familiar progresiva (PFIC) a las 2 años de edad. En su corta vida, ha estado bajo el cuidado de especialistas y su pediatra por mantener su enfermedad bajo control. En Enero 7, 2020 llevamos a Emilio a emergencias por vomito excesivo de sangre caul resulto en ensagranmiento interno. Despues de varios examenes resulto en los estados finales de la enfermedad PFIC. Emilio a estado en el hospital desde Enero 7, 2020 y la lista de espera para un donante de higado. Desafortunadamente, esto ha sido un impacto grande a nuestra familia, y un impacto financiero mientras se aumentan los biles medicos. Por esta hospitalizacion de Emilio, no he podido ir a trabajar por estar con el, y este cambio reducio nuestro hogar a un ingreso.  costo de medicinas, y perdida de ingreso, mientras Emilio esta en la batalla de su vida. Cualquier cantidad con que nos puedan ayudar, se les agradece.
