If you haven't gathered it quite yet -- I'm going to KENYA!
Kenya believe it?
I felt God place this desire on my heart to go serve Him on a mission trip, and that feeling has been sitting there untouched for almost 2 years. But I've finally found a trip that speaks to me directly and I'm taking a leap of faith in Christ to GO and serve. To be a part of something that's so much bigger than I am. To venture outside of my comfort zone and leave the country for my first time *ever*.
(because I don't think going to Toronto really counts, right?)
I'll be going on a mission trip to Kenya, Africa through my home church, First Baptist Church of Windermere. The trip will be from July 3-12 and the entire cost of the trip is $3000.
I'm raising $3300 to help cover the entire cost of the trip, to make up for fees that GoFundMe pulls out (2.9% in total, and $.30 per donation), and any additional money will go towards helping me purchase my passport or to helping others go on this trip. ALL funds will be used for this trip entirely. The money is technically due as soon as possible, but having it raised by May 15th is the goal.

We'll be working with kids of all ages, from babies to high school students, working on sharing the gospel and lightening the load of women who care for children in the orphanages.
I've never been more excited for a trip that is going to challenge and grow me in ways that I can't even predict. My heart leaps at the thought of getting to go and serve.
If you can contribute in any way -- THANK YOU! Whether it's $1 or $20, everything adds up! And whether you're able to give financially, give me advice on how to prepare, or if you can just pray over me and those going on this trip.
