On Friday August 24, 2018, as Emile Victor Alex Pitt Jr was swimming with some of his best friends as a last-minute hurrah before starting their sophomore year of college, Emile passed away in a tragic drowning accident in Hagerstown MD.
Emile was a hometown kid from Damascus, MD, A beloved son, a caring and supportive brother, and a devoted friend. Emile was also a gifted athlete, playing football his entire four years at Damascus High School. He was a brilliant student in both math and science, studying to become a petroleum engineer at Penn State and Montgomery College.
With the emotional pain of this devastating loss it’s hard for anyone to bury a young loved one. Please join the Damascus community in supporting this family in their time of sorrow.
