Emi's Fight Against Leukemia
Donation protected
Miss Emi Kate (3 years old) is a sweet, sassy, knows what she wants type of girl. She's been given so much in her young life. Her mom and her lost Emi's father when she was just 6 months old. At 3 she now has a wonderful family and an amazing support system. She has a step brother, Prestin (5), and a new brother coming in November. Things have been really great for this little girl, but this past weekend of September 14th, she was admitted to Primary Children's Hospital for tests that ultimately diagnosed her with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Since her cancer diagnosis she has undergone a surgery placing a permanent line in her chest, that she will likely have for the remainder of her treatment; approximately 2 years of chemotherapy. On top of the new diagnosis, her mom goes to school full time at the University of Utah (go Utes), her step-dad, Justin, works full time, and with a new baby on the way things are getting pretty stressful for their family in every way, including finances. They could use your support in any way you can help. Please feel free to donate if you are able, and as Emi continues through her cancer treatments, the family will send updates. Thank you for supporting this beautiful girl and her fight against cancer!
