Emery Skye’s Headstone & Mamas Recovery

We are overwhelmed with all the love, prayers and support our Emery Skye has received over the last few days. If you are unaware of our situation, July 20th two people kicked down my god sisters door robbed her and in the end shot her once in the chest and once in the abdomen area. Desire was 34.5 weeks pregnant. She was rushed into emergency surgery where Emery Skye was born and immediately placed on life support due to no brain activity. Due to the gun shot wound she was without oxygen for 20/30 mins. While Emery was being taken care of by St. David’s Hospital her mama was fighting for her life as well. Desire pushed herself to get better quickly to be reunited with her baby girl. Desire was released from the hospital Friday about 5pm and was able to spend a short two days with her sweet girl before she passed away. Desire was stolen of so much in a matter of moments. I have put this go fund me together to help her through this time. I am hoping with the money raised we can get her relocated, allow her to heal from the 47 staples she recently had removed and help with Emery’s headstone. Again, we are forever grateful for all the prayers.
