LAKE COMO EMERGENCY

My name is Matilde Rastelli (matilderastelli) and I was born and raised in Lake Como. 
I am a model, passionate humanitarian and now, through my social media platform, I’m raising awareness and funds for the families hit by the recent flood happened in my own hometown.
 
In three weeks I’ve raised and already donated €10.000,00. 
Now, to go even further, I am joined in this mission by two others Lake Como natives: Ferdinand Droulers (ferdinanddroulers), a tech & sustainability entrepreneur, and Maria Mantero (tuberosa73 ), brand advisor and charity-projects specialist.

We do have a common goal and we hope you can support it too: serve the needs of the families hit by last july 27 flash flood.
As you might know, on that day a heavy rainfall raced down slopes of Lake Como causing consequent and multiple landslides with major damages.

While most of the those have been quickly resolved to bring tourism back to normal, several families are still in a difficult situation as their homes are critically damaged. Still now they can’t go back inside and they need basic clothing, furniture and daily supplies while waiting to have a normal life back.

Your donation will be handed to Lake Como’s recognised Civil Protection department “Colline Comasche” that is in close contact with the families and knows the specific needs of each case.
