Emergency Winter Appeal - Happy Tails Srebrenica

We are desperate and now need urgent help for 120 Bosnian stray dogs to survive another harsh winter in Srebrenica. Time is now running out. We are therefore making this international appeal. Sadly we know what is in store for the dogs - last year water bowls froze, the snow was so deep the road was blocked and food had to be carried in. The temperature will go as low as minus 20. Many dogs will not make it - unless we raise money now for food (£4000), urgent vet care for injured and malnourished dogs (£6000) transport and sterilisations for the street dogs and all shelter dogs to provide a long term solution to the problem (£3500) and money

(£2500) for straw, water, and  extra wood to create an additional  dog kennel  due to extreme over crowding.  Puppies rescued from the streets are now larger dogs who have little space for exercise and play.

Can you spare a little? Can your friends or family help? Please spread the word and let’s help those who have no voice and give hope to a region where such sadness has gone before.
