Emergency Vet Funds for Cogan

Hi there,
I want to preface this by saying that it's very difficult for me to ask for help - in my personal life and even more so on a public stage. Generally, I don't need help and I get by just fine. However, this past weekend, my beloved cat (Cogan) started showing signs that he was sick out of the blue. He was lethargic, not eating/drinking, not using the bathroom, and overall not the happy, ever-purring guy I know. My normal vet wasn't available to see us so we ended up in the emergency vet. After 2 days in the ER with a 105+ degree fever, copious blood tests, X-Rays, an ultrasound, IV fluids/meds + more I am looking at about $3,000+ in medical bills and I still don't have an answer regarding his health.
I adopted Cogan when he 4 years old in 2016 from the Norfolk SPCA and it was the best decision I ever made. He will be 8 in October and brings me so much joy - I have genuinely never met a cat like him - soft and sweet, calm, and seriously always purring. Unfortunately, Cogan is immunocompromised with a heart murmur and is FIV+, which is why even the slightest medical situation requires immediate attention. It is so painful to be put in these types of situations - one where you, out of pure fight or flight, are forced to think about dollar signs in relation to someone (or a creature) you love. I chose love and am swallowing my pride and putting this GoFundMe out there for anyone who has the means and wants to help us out.
Please know that I wholeheartedly understand that times are absolutely unprecedented right now and so many of us are financially strapped. The timing of this couldn't be any more awful (but then again, when is it ever right). Thank you all for at least hearing me out and for any monetary assistance - please keep Cogan in your thoughts for a swift and full recovery!
