Hi I’m David Phillips I live In Scott City with my baby Ares. I got Ares from a wonderful breeder when he was 10 weeks old. They drove him all the way from Oklahoma to Marble Hill at my old address. First night I put him in his crate and he was crying so much I picked him up and put him in bed with me. He still at 2 1/2 years still sleeps with me every night. Ares Is my child I know some people might see It different but Everytime since I’ve gotten him I have been close to suicide many times since I got him. We were on our way to St Charles to visit my parents and my younger brothers who live in different states. Around Bloosdale he was panting very hard but I looked back and he was just laying down so I took exit 178 and pulled into a Dairy Queen and I was going to let him out to drink and pee. When I opened the hatch of my jeep Ares was laying there panting like crazy and couldn’t move. I seen a bunch of white foam that he aspirated and I tried to give him water but he just couldn’t move. I went into terror and a young lady seen me and looked at him and said he’s bad and put the address where she works and it was a 35 min drive. I grabbed my phone and by gods grace he was alive. I rushed him in and he was having a stroke and his temp was 109. His estimate for the next 24 hours is around $6,500. I’m 100% disabled as some of my friends know because of me having cancer almost 5 years ago. I’m maxing out both my credit cards and the bill is still going to be very high. Normally If I set up a go fund me like when I was fighting cancer my pride would not want It. This go fund me is all about Ares and he has saved me so many times and when I’m felling down with depression Ares would always come up to me and put his paw on me like he knew I was struggling. I am praying to God now to save his life and have no neurological Issues. If you can’t give then say a prayer for Ares and me because loosing him would be like loosing a child. Please share this If you can. He’s at an Emergency Vet Hospital In Brentwood. I am staying by his side for the next 24 hours so I will update anytime the Veterinary Dr updates me. He had a seizure about 30 min ago but they stopped It hopefully In time.
